For sale by owners must know their market, they must know what comparable homes have recently sold for in their neighborhood, and they must also abide by
Federal law which states they have to disclose certain criteria and informational booklets to their home buyer. But most importantly, you need to know that concurrent, recent statistics disclose that a real estate professional can get you more money for your home.
The 2002 National Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers states: "Homes that sold with the assistance of a real estate professional had a median sales price 27 percent higher than those who sold their home themselves." The reason a real estate professional can get you more money for your home is because Realtors are trained professionals in their field, they're skilled negotiators, they're not emotionally tied to your home, and they will market your home to more qualified
buyers - not lookers!
There are over 10,000 licensed real estate agents in Palm Beach County, Florida. On an average, each agent has about 10 buyers in their buyer-pool ready to buy a home and this equates to a buyer pool of about 100,000 buyers ready to see your home today!
